Property values are picking up, at the Ko`olani

The Ko`olani is been priced far below market for the past few years and buyers knew a good thing when they see it, But those days are quickly coming to an end, the desperate investors have sold leaving 1 short sale and less then half dozen or so, owners still asking substantially below perceived value.

Ko`olani’s know for its central location, is not only the center of Honolulu, but centered between world famous Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ward Center to each side, also with Ko`olani’s ocean and city views. It sits directly across world famous Ala Moana White Sand Beach and Magic Island.

Ko`olani’s neighbor the Hokua currently has units selling well over 1.8 to 2 million dollars, it is taken Ko`olani 3 years to climb but as you can see, with the help of some proud homeowners and proud realtors, the Ko`olani is coming back.

Why the lower prices for the past few years? Many blame the lower values on a flood of desperate investors trying to unload their purchase in the down economy creating a price war; others blame a realtor preying on the homeowners in trouble, perhaps making promises to turn their units quickly claiming they know the market better then others, in any case the Ko`olani market is bouncing back with less then ten units currently on the market, prices are begining to stableize.
